Lisa, a visual artist from Newfoundland and Labrador, draws her inspiration from the rugged beauty of the Avalon Peninsula's Irish Loop, where she spent her formative years. Now residing in Topsail, CBS, Lisa's deep connection to nature, cultivated by a life lived by the sea, permeates her artwork.

Lisa's passion for the outdoors has been a driving force behind her artistic journey, leading her to concentrate on capturing the inherent beauty of the natural settings and landscapes unique to Newfoundland and Labrador. She employs various mediums, including watercolor, acrylic, pastel, and free-motion embroidery. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Lisa is a dedicated lifelong learner. She has honed her skills under the instruction of respected artists such as James Middleton, Margaret Walsh-Best, Doug Mays, Glenda Bartlett, and George Jarvis. Most recently, Lisa completed the Art and Design Essential program at the College of the North Atlantic, further enriching her artistic practice.

Through her work, Lisa seeks to inspire others to connect with nature and experience its calming effects, echoing her own profound connection to the land and sea that have always been her home.
